*delurk* There is no direct analogue of PerlMonks for Python - ie, a structured community. Snakehandlers definitely doesn't count since it's pretty much unused by Pythonistas. What python does have is relatively friendly mailing lists - python-list (aka comp.lang.python) for general use; python-tutor for newbies, python-dev for development OF the language. (it's interesting to lurk even if you never post), and planet.python.org for python-related blogs. I don't know whether something similar in design to Perlmonks would ever gain critical mass - if something did, I suspect that it would be far more wiki-like. -T. *relurk*
