Vote, talk, any post invalidates next entries links

If you go to a section (i.e. Poetry) and scroll down to the bottom, there is a link entitled Next entries, which brings you to the next "page" of Poetry, in other words, the 2nd set of ten. However, if you vote on any of these, or just click the talk button, you are always brought back to the top of that section, no matter how deep you had drilled. It appears as if the next page info is only stored in the query_string, and not getting passed as a hiden parameter so that the Post method picks things up.

When you first come to the Monastery, you are usually quickly taught the evil of the "Back Button". But here it can be your friend.

For example, Next, Next, Next, Next, Vote, Back, Back, Next, Next, Next...

(And I support the idea of adding the position as a hidden field for those forms.)

    This is correct.

My solution has always been to note the location in the url and hand restore it. Its kind of a quirk of the monastery. Maybe its there to test us, to see if we can adapt to an imperfect world. Maybe its there because of an imperfect creator.
