Veering off in a somewhat random direction... While playing around with this code and the Pfannkuchen(n) for n = 1 .. 10, I noticed something unique about the sequence 416523, which is one of the max sequences for Pfannkuchen(6). <Reveal this spoiler or all in this thread>
