I'll keep doing what I was doing during the Olymics: following the NFL and open-wheel racing offseasons like the insane little geek I am.
I find it interesting, though, that the Olympics, at least here in America, are largely targetted at non-traditional sports fans. Football, baseball, auto racing, basketball, and hockey fans, with rare exceptions, are ignored. But the people to whom the Olympics are supposed to appeal preferred to watch American Idol instead.

Odd. I think I'll wait for the end of the para-olympic games before declaring them over. Sadly, they won't get anywhere near the same media coverage. Who care about a bunch of cripples running around in wheel-chairs anyway?
Bitter, me? No, not at all.

Well, THAT probably would make front page news... I mean, how were they cured? Where did they find a big enough wheelchair to run around in? What kind of canopy does this wheelchair have? :)
