I tried this on an XP box with Perl 5.6.1, Tk version 800, and this code displays perfectly fine. Title bar length was 500 pixels. I also ran it from a linux box with Perl 5.8.3, Tk 804, and Perl 5.6.1, Tk 800, displaying it on the XP box using Exceed as the x-server. Those also displayed fine and in the exact same size. Are you sure the versions are what you think they are? ($Tk::VERSION) -imran
