I must agree with japhy's response. I recognize the zero-width assertions, and read perlre, and I suspect that the title is a hint, too, but I just don't quite get what "(?<! always (?=" means...

A little help, please?

Update: Just after pressing the create button, I think I (might) have it. "Always look both ways"? (Presumably before crossing the street)?
