heh, I was hoping this poll would get used. Gives me the opportunity to brag about having logged into Perl Monks from 38,000', whilst on a SIA flight from Tokyo to Singapore earlier this year.

First time I've used the net on a plane, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the connection. The only real challenges were elbow room, and hitting the wrong keys during turbulence :)

    And what about the price? ;-)

      From memory, I think it was around US$20 for the duration of the flight. It was a 6 hour flight, so that wasn't too bad :)

      Only problem with that was - the battery on my ThinkPad only lasts 3 hours tops :(
