I never mentioned the Space Shuttle being in orbit at the time, either. I did, however, make the assumption that it was an active Shuttle, not one in a museum, where interested persons could climb all over it with few restrictions.
I am quite aware that the set of people who have access to the Shuttle is much larger than the set of people who fly in the Shuttle.
