nice poll! i somehow think that i like Perl because it fits my personality. I like flexible and i like the power that Perl gives me( map, grep, do something if, complex datastructure). I couldn't imagine that I live in the java land. to me, writing Perl is like speaking in Chinese which is my first language, i feel FREE.
