Nodes to Consider Default View

Considering that most monks cannot see the Nodes to Consider section, despite it being a very talked-about section, how about putting a small blurb at the top of the page saying something like:

This section is not enabled until you reach "friar." Information on the Nodes to Consider feature can be found <here>.

Currently, if you are not a friar or above, you can get to the page, but the only thing on it is a single, lonely "Submit" button.

In addition to turnstep's suggestion, perhaps a link to Level Powers from the Voting/Experience System page would help users understand the system. Number of Monks by Level and any other similar nodes would also make good links from there.	[reply]

That sounds like a good idea, and (sh\|w)ouldn't be terribly difficult to implement (I've not looked at the everything2 source, but it seems as though it'd be an if ($level < 6) { } else { } block). I was often stumped looking at Nodes to Consider prior to level 6, until I saw someone mentioning that in the Chatterbox one day. -marius	[reply]
