Graphcomp has released Perl OpenGL (POGL) 0.56, adding support for Cg and GLSL.

In parallel, Graphcomp has also released the OpenGL::Shader module, which abstracts OpenGL APIs for ARB (assembly), Cg and GLSL shading languages.

This is great news, actually. I've been following the improvements on this module since you've taken it over from the previous maintainer, it has seen tremendous improvements. All I can say is just keep up the good work!

I have used 0.55 for my personal project, but I have to say with 0.56 and GLSL, things will be much easier for my code.
Thanks for your feedback and support! I would love to know more about what you are using POGL for - ping me at grafman@graphcomp.com

BTW - you can find my projects at ohloh.org - POGL, OpenGL-Image and OpenGL-Shader. I'll check out PUGs.
