Mind my asking which of Herbert Schildt's C++ books? My C++ library is terrible, including only two reference-type books that I picked up at a library book sale. They are not very good at all. Now that I think about it, if I could find a high-quality C++ reference and a best practices guide I'd be pretty happy.
