We're only just now getting into a stage where it makes any sense to try to "sell" people on perl 6 (myself, I'm more worried about making sure people are aware of 5.10). My personal feeling is that there's a hell of a lot of things going on with perl 6, and I would guess that even the people working on it aren't really aware of what's going to turn out to be the "killer app" for it. (Back in the early 90s, you couldn't tell people they should get into perl because it's great for CGI...)
