Heathen! When I go to Solvang, I have ębleskiver and beer (they're not as good as what my wife makes, but the 40 ounce beer kind of makes up for it). On a side note, some Danish friends had a tour guide of California, and the description of Solvang seemed to translate to something like "cheesy tacky danish-themed tourist town."

Ah Mein Gott! I was JUST NOW looking up how to spell aevil uh evvil uh that thing you typed up there. I remember it/them fondly: kind of a dumpling object, with preserves and powdered sugar? Is that close?
That's pretty much it. Spherical pancakes. Put whatever you like on'em or in'em. Though I think there was a sort of creamy lingonberry sauce at the windmill cafe restaurant place that I had them at. It's funny that we've had a couple of ębleskiver pans for a while now, and just recently they started hawking them on those "call now and get'em for $19.95 (+ postage and handling!)" commercials under the name "Pancake Puffs." (prolly cuz 'merkins can't pronounce ębleskiver) And in case you need a perl-approved recipe: Viking Balls.
Well, in my limited experience, Vikings know breakfast.

My MFA advisor back at (one of my) grad schools had a ridiculously beautiful Icelandic wife who made trad Icelandic breakfast-y things for a bunch of us, once. This included some kind of pancake roll-up deal that had crystal sugar inside. I still remember those, 25 years later.
