How could I have forgotten Corwin of Amber? After all, he's mastered Pattern matching...

I could see Corwin learning a batch-processing language really well and perhaps awk, but Merlin is the one who knew just about every programming language worth knowing. He built his own theoretical computer, found a shadow where it would work, and wrote its expert system, remember?

Quite so, quite so! (I was going for the easy joke about patterns; if I could have thought of a wizard who enjoyed corned-beef hash, I'd have used that...)

So now we just need to differentiate between Merlin{Camelot} and Merlin{Amber}. 8-)

        Don't forget Merlin{Stargate: SG-1}.

Of course, and Merlin{Amber} mastered Chaos strolling...
