in reply to anyone tried DBI 1.15?

markjugg, my best suggestion is to subscribe to dbi-users@perl.org

Important things to look for in the archives, database system and version. merlyn's correct. Tim Bunce is a reputable source for modules, being both the author of the DBI module and co-author of Programming the Perl DBI.

In my own experience when I made the jump from 1.13 to 1.14, my own code didn't have a problem. It's generally when you make a jump from different DBD modules that any specific errors may arise. In those cases, you can always expect to get a quick response from the author on the dbi-users mailing list.

Update: I was looking through the list and noticed a small problem that came up. Tim was notified of it. The error involved selectrow_hashref in a mod_perl environment (read Apache::DBI). The method was not found. Also, if you run Oracle, you may experience a test script failing (t/plsql.t around test 55). Tim reports this as a flawed test (read not a real issue). Unless you're crazy and running the bleeding edge version of perl, it appears that these are the only errors reported so far on the list.

ALL HAIL BRAK!!!
