I would be happy to go, but the cost is prohibitive at best. I do not have $1000 to throw around. I don't understand why it has to be so expensive (well, I do...but I don't have to like it). DefCon is only $50. Conferences are better when cheap (or, like sex and OSs, free).

    Well, registration for YAPC::* is also open.. and must more cost efficient :)

      Thanks for the heads up! Unfortunately (for the purposes of YAPC::America::North), I live on the West Coast and am unable to travel out to Quebec. Yaaar...
