That may be true, but we may also know about harmonic-scale progression, brownian motion, and dark matter. That doesn't make this a music, physics, or astonomy site either.
I would suggest you find a PHP site to ask this question on as it is totally off-topic

    Asking how to call or embed PHP in Perl is not off topic.

      Except that I believe, as best I can from his poorly worded and uninformative question, that he is asking how to configure apache to serve PHP pages

        Yeah. I think you're right, and romandas. I personally like a little OT here and I tend to give Seekers of Perl Wisdom the benefit of the doubt just in case there is a Perl angle, if only on a tangent.

      I agree with you; asking about embedding $anything in Perl would not be off-topic. However, the original post does not seem to contain anything Perl-related in it.

      This could be due to my misunderstanding of web technologies in general, but without a better-worded request from the original monk, it appears completely off-topic and should likely be treated as such. Edit: Not sure why the downvotes.. anyone care to clarify what is so awful about this post?
