Thanks for pointing this out. The problem is that the Makefile.PL of the GD distribution specifies a PM attribute to WriteMakefile of what pm files to include, and this doesn't have Group.pm. It'd be a problem on any system, I would imagine. I've fixed this for the ppm packages in both the 5.10 and 5.8 uwinnipeg repositories.

Aaaah ... that's how it's happened. Turns out there's already a bug report for this at http://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=40656 and the proposed/recommended fix is to simply remove the `use GD::Group;` from GD/Simple.pm. Cheers, Rob	[reply] [d/l]

I had the same problem on Linux. I fixed it by adding `'GD/Group.pm' => '$(INST_LIBDIR)/GD/Group.pm',` [download] on line 237 of the Makefile.PL and ran a manual install. It works now.	[reply] [d/l]
