in reply to Help with updating a Perl Resources sticky thread at a web developer forum?

I've still got some books in the list which I have no idea if they should be in there. Can anyone comment on:

  1. Writing Apache modules with Perl and C is this outdated or still good?
  2. Mod_perl Cookbook not sure if this still works okay in these heady days of mod_perl2 and Apache2? It's on the books.perl.org list though
  3. Developing Web Applications with Apache, MySQL, memcached, and Perl (Wrox Programmer to Programmer) there are no Amazon reviews on this. The forum has old articles about older Perl WROX books, but I don't know the author or the quality of Wrox in general. However it's definitely a topic of interest to people visiting the forums!
  4. Network Programming with Perl is 1999, still good?

Thanks.
