I agree. I don't vote on a node unless I like it. That usually means that it was understandable to me, or it had a good point, or I can see that someone tried before posting a question. I don't like it when I see "How do I" rather then "I tried, but." I usually have votes left at the end of the day. Oh well, I'm not very experianced in perl and I don't need the XP points anyway. I have been guilty of personality voting (only to the up side) but I see so many wise monks that seem to never get the answer wrong, that I just have to ++ something that I would normally leave alone. Sorry.
