In effect, Perl-6 becomes an entirely new language, with Perl-5 as its primary competition.
Yes, you're right. You are welcome to your opinion, but please, go back and do some rudimentary research on the history of Perl 6 and its design before you say things like the Perl-6 team will be rather shocked to discover that their baby has no wings and will not fly. BTW: I don't recall anyone claiming it will be a silver bullet.
