I enjoy polls. They're sort of like those stupid party games that everyone loves to hate, until the partygoers realize that supid party game just let them walk up to a complete stranger and strike up a conversation that lasted half an hour. Speaking as a geek, that's gold.

It's also a way of strengthening the community by having everyone gather in the kitchen for a cup of coffee, lovely cold beer, delicious wine, smoky scotch and perhaps a pipe to give us time to tell stories to each other.

The caffeine poll was AWESOME - I just went and read all the comments arising from it. Hilarious! Think I'll go have another Mt. Dew...

I went and got a cup of coffee to drink while I read the comments... and spilled some on me when I spit it up laughing at some of the comments....

Mine was definitely the personality type indicator poll. Man that was classic. Brilliant whoever created it.

I have to say that what I really like about the PerlMonks polls are the wacky humorous answers given in the comments section. Perl Monks are mad as a box of frogs!

If you were a frog in a box with a bunch of other frogs you'd be mad too!
