Out of memory during "large" request

bh_perl has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I have run my perl program from cygwin and i got error message as below:

Out of memory during "large" request for 134221824 bytes, total sbrk()
+ is 321808384 bytes at ./decode_tune_rawcdr.pl line 40.

Why this is happened ?.. my code is OK.
