Hitting half a century makes one look both backward and forward. All the time knowing that things in the past cannot be changed no matter how far away they get and though the future is yet unpopulated with words, deeds, tragidies, or triumps, it is getting shorter every day.

As is my habit, I plan to take the day off and examine my life a bit. Or then I may just screw off doing nothing.;-)>

The new picture is me in a sense. The original is of my shadow on graded ground in the bright sunlight. With a bit of adjustment with gimp what you see is what I got.

Just a bit of a change from the crap I had here before.

2003-05-22 -- Play with computers and work in the gardens. Or is that work with computers and play in the gardens... Sometimes it seems like either or both. But with the rain we have had lately I may have to go back to working with computers to buy food to put on the table.

2003-06-08 -- Made Monk today at around 1pm.

2003-07-29 -- Made Friar today between 5 and 7am.

2003-10-07 -- Made Abbot at about 20:30 cdt.

2005-01-08 -- Made Bishop at 10:12 cdt.

Lot of changes in my (real) life since becoming Abbot. Dropped out of computer things for nearly a year but back to it now. Or as back to it as I want to be.

2007-05-22 -- Made Chaplain at 11:36 CDT.

Again many changes in real life since last update. Dropped out of about everything even relating to computers for quite a while but am back and trying to learn a bit more about Perl again.

2008-02-22 -- Still hacking. Nothing exciting just same old, same old. Put up a newer picture today fwiw.
