What is "extract_braketed" suposed to be , why are you trying to use it? The docs don't mention any such thing as "extract_braketed" ... you're supposed to use a function the module actually contains like "extract_bracketed"
Also, hello, you've asked philcrow who was last logged in six years ago and can't hear you. See on necromancy (reviving old threads) and The Perl Monks Guide to the Monastery If you want to ask everybody go to new question: Seekers of Perl Wisdom

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
