Yes, I do, when I can. I also periodically hang out at the stargazers clubs in Vulcan and Jasper Alberta.
My favourite thing though is to drive way up into the mountains and observe the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights). I often plan long camping trips in the mountains when the Kp index is relatively high, signalling that the Northern Lights are possible or sometimes even likely.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
