That's a very different kind of semantics which could easily be bound to another keyword like "call".
Perl has many examples of multiple semantics, e.g. eval

tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be

have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
