Actually a Dual-Athlon MP 1800.

BTW Linux was ridiculously easy to install. The store did not know how to do it, so I went there on the day Mandrake 8.2 was released and 30 mn later (10 of which spent going through the list of packages choosing what to install) voila! System working perfectly, network configured, firewall up, ready to use. The guy who installs Windows was thouroughly disgusted!

There is nothing better than looking at top and watching the 2 CPU's being used... at 0.1% each ;--)

Title:
Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
  • Want more info? How to link or How to display code and escape characters are good places to start.
