I would be willing to abstain from voting on the node in order to learn its reputation. ...because that would allow you to make an informed judgement of its quality ? :) This is just another variation on the theme of "seeing the reputation of a node without casting a vote", and I think the question has been going on since voting was implemented. Here is a (probably non-exhaustive) list of previous threads on the matter:
I don't think anything that could be said about the subject has not already been said, somewhere, sometime. Keep in mind that the reputation is published for the best and worst nodes of the past 24 hours, past week and ever.
