After the positive popular response to two recent nodes,
I would like to go on with a little "provocation".
Browsing around in the places where I thougth some good ones were (and with a little help from some friends),
I came out with my very personal list of good nodes
on their way towards the Best Nodes.
This list is most likely to be incomplete, but maybe somebody would like to contribute
their own findings.
As always, comments will be appreciated.

After my post, ferrency's node replaced footpad's in Best Nodes. Their rep was respectively 241 and 244.
Almost all nodes in this list were upvoted (46 votes in less than 11 hours). Just to confirm that, in addition to their merit, it's this kind of "exposure" that creates the hall of fame list.
Update Feb 24,2004 something has happened!

Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
