I think basically what you have here is an example of bad cropping. The full uncropped "lizard" would be much less "suggestive", but likely not fit into a 32x32 icon. Which of course is just one for reason to use Mac OS X IMO :-P
Of course, if you really wanna get picky about phallic/vulvic symbols, then you could say that the Washington Monument in Wash. D.C. is really just a "symbol" of white-male domination. And then there is the shape of George Washinton's wig on the one dollar bill. Oh, and what about the CBS "eye", i mean come on, thats clearly a vagina turned on its side. Lets not get started on anything paintings by Georgia O'Keefe. And we all know what a cigar really is (wink wink, nudge nudge say no more).
But then again, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, and a lizard is just bad art direction.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
