I know this is a bit late for this node. I was just going thru some of your nodes and this one seemed to be interesting...
Anyway, have you read Dan Brown's Digital Fortress? That was one of my recent reads and it was a wonderful experience.. The reason i mention the book, is because it is full of Encryption Algorithms (including some of his other books) ... the characters are people from Crypto!..
One the whole, a great read.. both your's above as well as the book.
Thanks!

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
