I actually used my pink camel book the other day.
I had been talking to some folks at a company I
did some work for and they mentioned this wonderful
sl script that they used, and how they wanted me
to mention it in my class. And I said, "Oh, that's
just one of the scripts in the Perl eg/ directory."
But when I looked in eg/ is wasn't there, so I looked
around for it, and found it on page 314 of the pink Camel book.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
