Data::Dumper says:
$Data::Dumper::Deparse or $OBJ->Deparse([NEWVAL])
Can be set to a boolean value to control whether code references are turned into perl source code. If set to a true value, B::Deparse will be used to get the source of the code reference. Using this option will force using the Perl implementation of the dumper, since the fast XSUB implementation doesn't support it.
The implication is clearly that by default it doesn't output source code. This is because you can't normally examine coderefs as source. It requires magic, unlike the other data types that Data::Dumper dumps.
Caution: Contents may have been coded under pressure.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
