I also got a private message from "merlyn" telling me to stop using all caps when I say "PERL" Oh what like he is some kind of big PERL expert??? Gimme a break!
He is.
Technically, he is an expert in Perl and possibly in perl, not in PERL :)
I'm just wondering if we're feeding the troll here. Wouldn't it be better to ignore who has proved to be it beyond every reasonable doubt? Or wouldn't it be better to pretend it's a joke, as suggested by many? Just thinking.

Don't fool yourself.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
