Howzabout "What's your favorite O'Reilly book dealing with Perl" or some such?
Maybe not as whimsical or light as some others, but most will have an opinion,
and the results might be useful.
Or, "What's your favorite CPAN module?" (Though it'd be hard coming up with
the choices...)

- What's your favorite (other) Perl site?
- Why did you resign? (see alt.tv.prisoner)
- Which movie star would be most convincing as a Perl geek?
(No Natalie Portman entries, slashheads...)
- Into what home appliance/electronics would you most like to embed Perl?
(Clock radio, refrigerator, dishwasher, lawnmower, stereo...)
- What's Perl's least-used keyword?
- Which Perl authors appear most frequently in your dreams?

<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
