print << "END";
Here's the text of the message I want to print.
Note that I'm not flush left like I would have
to be in Perl 5. The amount of whitespace before
the terminating "END" is stripped from the front
of each line.
END
So how many spaces are there in a tab? I guess we'll also have to have a new Perl 6 pragma:
use tabstop 4;

(but my friends call me "Tye")

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
