Your wrong: there is no thumbing down, only thumbing up, Instead of being what 215+ below level 1 novice, and since there are people out there thumbing up comments I make (I see you thanks), I'd be a few levels up. But then I'm not actually a troll, a fact that the stupid legacy software running this site is incapable of determining without the ancient technology of hierarchy maintaining it.

Reread what I actually wrote, my statement was that if the ability to access sections of the site was dependent on the 'respect' (or experience to use the local vernacular), and this (and only this) were implemented, then given your current standing in the Monastery you wouldn't even be able to login.

But then I'm not actually a troll

No, trolls are amusing.

Just who the fuck do you think you are talking about people being held accountable for actions?

Hi Logicus/simonodell I'm The Hindmost, someone talking about the fact that your system makes about as much sense as a submarine made of bread. But honestly, this really does answer quite a number of questions about your inability to deal with other people, and the way you throw your toys out of your cot when someone doesn't automatically declare you 'Lord High Protector of Templating Systems'.

everything else is either just chatter, banter or people being people and arguing with each other and disagreeing over things because no one has all the answers,

Strange how when other people engage in 'chatter, or 'banter' or disagree with you, you're quick to resort to slurs and if I'm perfectly honest the behaviour of a puffed up little popinjay, I refer you to:

Reaped: How I know aXML rocks.
Bad Religion!
Is this the correct address?
Monks && Knights
I will be vindicated
Moores Law, Perl and the future
Pulling Punches

As a list of examples

no matter how much the pyramid behinds the scenes of this site encourages narccistic behaviour and beliefs.

What is this I don't even? Once again, I refer you to:

Reaped: How I know aXML rocks.
Is this the correct address?
I will be vindicated
Moores Law, Perl and the future
Pulling Punches

So you can reflect on some examples of 'narccistic'(sic) behaviour as exemplified by simonodell and Logicus.
In closing:

Your wrong

My wrong what? (couldn't resist).

Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
