Update: To be fair, at the time he posted that comment, the unpack function in the latest stable release of perl did not yet support parentheses in the template, so you couldn't have written this kind of japh so easily.

<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
