G'day all and Merry Yuletide.

I just posted a reply to "[OT] Merry Christmas and gift of love": it appears to have disappeared from the system.

I ran it through "preview" a few times — no major changes; just a few typo fixes and such like — without any problems. I then hit "create".

Now, "[OT] Merry Christmas and gift of love" shows no replies, my listed posts from my home node do not show it; it's not in Newest Nodes, RAT or Meditations; even the front page shows it has no replies.

I managed to save a copy of the origin text: recreation is not a problem. There's obviously some underlying problem — that may be very minor — investigation would be appreciated.

Please advise on appropriate action: just repost or await fix. Thanks.

    Hi Ken

If you really created a node that disappeared, the node-id would have been used up.

I checked all between the post in replying to and the one you wanted to reply and they are regular posts.

You said you hit create, so what did you see then ?

And if it was nothing why didn't you just reload?

      G'day Rolf,

      "I checked all ..."

      Thanks for that.

"You said you hit create, so what did you see then ?"

It displayed the "[OT] Merry Christmas and gift of love" post again after clicking on "create". That's the point at which my post disappeared.

If possible try going back in browser history and reload.

This should trigger the post again.

        Cheers Rolf
