Other than... what?!? Also, in your OP you write that "it says it is installed": it... what? The computer? The installation program? And then, how are you searching the interpreter? How are you failing to find it? For a "normal" install, the AS binaries directory is added to the path, thus under cmd.exe (or, if you're on an older Windoze) it's enough that you type perl and it should work just fine. Also try perl -v just to see if it's there.
