Just noticed that beautyfulman's first 25 posts seem to now be completely empty, even lacking a node title, for example [untitled node, ID 11140036].

I'm pretty sure it's against site policy to remove content from your old nodes. If so, should their content be restored?

That's wrong, you are damn sure! ;-)

    from one of your links:

Deleting All Your Posts / Wiping All Your Content

This is considered vandalism and is against site policy. It is not condoned and not enabled. If you attempt to wipe your nodes' contents (other than your homenode and scratchpads), efforts will be made to restore them when you're done. Similarly, requests to have your nodes reaped (except in the obvious cases of duplication or spam) will not be honored.
The site admins reserve the right to lock you out if they catch you in the act of wiping your content.

Yes, I now remember the infamous BrowserUk drama of 2019, when our most prolific monk took the inexplicable (to me) decision to begin a systematic vandalisation of every one of his (often excellent) posts. Even good-humoured attempts at placation by karl failed to change his mind.

I don't know what the trigger was for this inexplicable (to me) decision nor do I know how far he got in this act of hooliganism ... though I doubt anyone would have the patience and tenacity to manually desecrate 23755 nodes! :)

Does anyone know how many nodes he managed to demolish before being stopped and if all the vandalised nodes were able to be successfully restored?

IIRC did the gods write a script back then to restore all backups from DB.

In my experience this might take some days now, til they find the time to adjust this mess.

The bother is IMHO big enough to justify blocking this account.

        Cheers Rolf
