odd ball, non standard browser = any browser that is uncommon on a Mac. Perhaps my language was poor, I did not mean to imply uncommon browsers were bad.

Well that's why someone mentioned iCab. I don't know if your script detects iCab or not. But again, enquiring minds want to know the thinking behind this. For some reason you want to detect Mac users accessing your site. You want to send them to a different page. You think the best way to do that is to detect mac browsers.
