Perl Haiku

For those of you who don't know, a Haiku is japanese poetry, which consists of 3 unrhyming lines, with 5, 7 and 5 syllables in each respectively.

  foreach haiku (my $pen writes) {
      $pen=>writes(less_perl); last; }

There have been several Perl Haiku contests (TPC 3, The Perl Journal), and even a module coy to replace `die` and `warn` with haikus (and it adds the `transcend` and `enlighten` functions. The module won the "Best Module" at TPC 3 and was written by the usual Damian Conway	[reply]

Haikus should mention, reference, imply season (its cold here) somehow ... and by no means is D. Conway considerable as 'usual' ;-> a	[reply]

There has also been more than a few on this site. Some (like mine) are easy to find as they have "haiku" in the title but most you have to dig through the poetry section for. The earliest "serious" one is Bare Errors.	[reply]
