Interesting points you have. But I still stick to the "Bushido in Perl" concept. Bushido in Perl(or rather, Perl in the Bushido context) is just a metaphorical interpretation in the essence for all Perl programmers. If you take it too literally, you should not be in this poetry page. For proof : (Facing Difficulty) - Remember how you tamed the beasts of those line noises? I am sure many does, just like those Bushido facing his greatest sworn enemy. (Courage) - We all have the courage(even confident) in our art to the extreme that we even play Golf with it. We don't see people in other camps does this. (Benevolence) - I have notice Perl programmers don't snob at newbies. I can't say this to other kind of programmers. (Respect) - We hold great respect for all supra-mundane codes, this way we will all learn. (Honesty) - You must be true to your own self, else your code will not execute. (Honor) - We all hold great honor of being a Perl programmer, perhaps feeling a little too much in the honor to the state that we all became hubris about it. (Loyalty) - I had notice all true Perl programmer hold a great loyalty to this language, even to the extend of waxing poetries in this page ;)
