The "\%attr" parameter can be used to alter the
           default settings of "PrintError", "RaiseError", "Auto­
           Commit", and other attributes. For example:
 
             $dbh = DBI->connect($data_source, $user, $pass, {
                   PrintError => 0,
                   AutoCommit => 0
             });
