Well, im disappointed to hear you say that without anything to back it up. Are you implying ive somehow twisted these results to show falsehoods? I certainly havent. I produced three batches of tests with wordcounts of 1 through 1_000_000, and search string sizes of 1k,10k and 100k. These are the results I obtained for those tests on my PC here using the code I have posted here. If there is something wrong with the code please call it to my attention.

Needless to say, I'm bored with fighting my way through your messy, overcomplicated, ill-structured code trying to uncover them. I'll let others take on that role now--if they can be bothered.

Well im happy to have my code peer reviewed and picked apart with a fine tooth comb. But frankly you have no right to accuse me of any form of underhandedness.

I expect that folks reading this will read your words in the light of the fact that the results dont show your solutions to be the best. Just as I have done.
