"A bit older than Perl?" Young whippersnapper! Happy Birthday!

Like zentara, I'm no longer looking forward to birthdays as occasions of joy and celebration. On the other hand, there is still cake.

Perl is fun, and there are some interesting personalities around Perl, and hanging around The Monastery. The latter is why I come to visit; I hope some of their "interesting-ness" will be contagious, and overcome my intrinsic boring-ness.
