Credit for what? Not using strict? Not declaring his variables? Not using decent programming practices? Not being able to type with more than 2 fingers?

He could have saved time by just linking to this site.

Who is this, BTW? The guy who plays Keith from BBC's The Office?

Well I did say, the idea of flash tutorials did have some merit. Besides what others have said..... no warnings nor strict, a useless cgi header on everything, the thing has to move faster or people will get an impression that Perl is dull and slow. If I was a new programmer, and saw one of those tutorials, I would look at another language which was more exciting.

At least he should copy in the code lines as he descibes their purpose, instead of typing 1 letter per second.

I personally believe I'd rather give him some credit if he had done just one good tutorial! If there's something that's not missing in the web already, it's a "quite a lot of bad tutorials."
